I started writing this whilst studying music in Cuba in 2007 but it didnt really come together until the poverty situation in New Zealand and in other so called first world nations became so bad and made me so angry. I wrote about the neglected war vet, the woman living out of garbage cans and the families living out of vans. An appalling state of affairs, and not their own choice as some would have us believe.
